Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Julian?
By Susan Steffen-Kraft
Assange has come to understand and has embraced the fact that the definition of human struggle is not so much left versus right or even faith versus reason. For him it is an individual versus an institution which, to my understanding, would define government and or those who wish to control at an institutional level.
When communications were conducted by encrypted online, those chat services published a classified military report, which were created by the Army Counterintelligence Center in 2008. They argued that the site was a potential threat to the Army and briefly speculated on ways to deter government employees from leaking documents to it. Assange regarded the report as a declaration of war, and posted it with the title “U.S. Intelligence Planned to Destroy WikiLeaks.”
The First Amendment is being violated by the United States’s, and in their frantic attempt to build a case against Assange WikiLeaks which, to their way of thinking, has become serious, sinister, and frightening. Several things were put together by a grand jury in secret, I might add, in Alexandria, Virginia and there have been invasive searches of the WikiLeaks staff and surveillance of WikiLeaks supporters. There have been attempts to discredit, bankrupt, and destroy Mr. Assange to boot.
Many people of all ilk have demanded his release and this list includes Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky, Ai Wei Wei, and Patti Smith. “All who care about freedom of information should demand that the threats made against Julian should be lifted,” said British filmmaker Ken Loach, who was among the participants on June 19th, 2016 when people were supporting Assange because of the five year anniversary of his taking refuge in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. “He should be able to leave his place of safety without fear of deportation or being handed over to those who intend him harm.”
Our government seems to not be held accountable for forcing truth-tellers into prison and exile. We here in this country do not deserve a government that does this. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for a publisher like Assange and the whistleblowers like Manning and Snowden to be paying for this by giving up their liberty. Shame on our government for doing this.
Oddly, some conservatives don't care for him either. They wish to honor their country and to support their nation. So his way of doing things upsets their apple cart. Tough! I could care less! He is not our enemy but our government seems to be doing a hell of a job being the one who is the true enemy. He is exposing large and serious crimes committed by people you trust. Good job I say! So conservatives; pull up your big girl undies or skivvies and deal with it. As for liberals, some just hate him in general; particularly Hillary Clinton and President Obama.
What makes those who want to punish him so afraid? I am guessing that it is because he has published the truth about so many including Hillary Clinton. Julian was scheduled to do to give a speech revealing a October 2016 surprise and when he did not many condemned him but they spoke too soon. With good reason he did not do so, and it was because "Clinton had once asked “Can’t we just drone this guy?” referring to Assange, "He is a soft target walking around freely and thumbing his nose without any fear of reprisals from the United States."
You see the killing of Assange is not something she wants to do to protect America but to hide her sins and the President's sins. You step out on a balcony when your life has been threatened and there are "security threats!" Please, I invite you to be my guest.
As reported on Oct. 25, 2016 from WND Julian Assange got a question from MSNBC and Bloomberg senior political analyst Mark Halperin that was scribbled on a piece of paper. The question was "What aspect of the Podesta e-mails do you think the the U.S. media has under-reported?" The note came back (because Julian was very busy and could not give an interview) with one word Julian had written back to him..."Everything". It was later confirmed as the real thing by Assange's lawyer. So there you are, everything has been ignored.
Now, ask yourself why the powerful and almighty Hillary would be scared of Julian Assange? Could it be because he has proof of things on her hidden and evil deeds like he has had on others. I would say so! You have no reason to threaten someone unless your deeds being exposed will come to the light of day.
One such example is that this summer the people in Assange's group leaked embarrassing emails from the DNC which showed disdain for Bernie Sanders and his campaign for the Democrat nomination. The emails numbered into the thousands. As a result of this, the Chairwoman of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, resigned in complete disgrace the night before the Democrat convention. It could not have happened to a finer person; sarcasm intended.
Of course when he was exposing George Bush the liberal types cheered and loved him. But now, he is after the camp of Clinton and it is a different story. So now, some conservatives are cheering for him and waiting with baited breath for each leak that might expose more of her. Clinton should be thrilled that Bush stated that Julian Assange "has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States." Well so did you sir, so did you. That being said, Bush needed to be exposed then as does Hillary now!
Anyone who does their deeds in secret needs to be exposed. Job 12:22 states that " He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light. Oh, they will have their day when justice happens and all is known; it may not happen now, but it will, yes it will.
John Kerry, that unprincipled mouthpiece of evil wants a favor from Ecuador. He met with the officials of that country on unofficial business. Ecuador a favor. This taxpayer-funded man tried to get the country of Ecuador to come down on Assange and prevent him from publishing the emails on Hillary. He is a master of deceit! Of course the U.S. is denying that they asked the Ecuadorian Embassy to do anything. Right! And I have a piece of of the Brooklyn Bridge to sell you.
Oct. 19 2016 the following statement by Assange has claimed that a state actor has cut his link to the internet.
And all this do to his questions about the Democratic primaries and character questions about Hillary Clinton. My, my! More than a little strange and troubling.
WikiLeaks has also sent out three strange messages, each of them addressed to a different “state actor.”:

The numbers could be a possible “dead man’s switch,” which is intended to leak files if Assange’s dies and I would impagine in a questionable situation. This would also correlate with WikiLeaks’ who has mentioned “contingency plans.” There is also the fact that the site itself isn’t sure which of these three possible actors is responsible for severing Assange’s internet access. Perhaps in truth all three are involved in the plot together. This story is going to get more interesting before it’s all said and done with especially since the country of Ecuador decided to shut down his internet for the length of the presidential campaign. They do not want their "policy of non-intervention to be misunderstood by actors in our country and even domestically in Ecuador" since the face the dilemma of appearing to interfere with our elections and thus retaliation may happen next year during their elections. Assange himself has said he’s sitting on more information even more explosive than he’s released thus far. It is possibly the tip of the iceberg and what we have seen is already very revealing. This shows how desperate they are as Julian has accused the Clinton campaign of attacking the servers used by WikiLeaks. Assange claimed, "They attacked our servers and attempted hacking attacks and there is an amazing ongoing campaign where state documents were put in the UN and British courts to accuse me of being both a Russian spy and a pedophile,” he added.
And the show goes on!!!!
But back to the question which I am asking of how the US can charge a non-US citizen with any crime for something or anything when it is outside of US soil. I really don't understand why his country of origin would allow him to be tried either since it opens up the can of worms that another government from any country could try anyone for any law on its books.
Ask our government that question and they will make up a fluff answer.
According to the message sent by WikiLeaks ✔@wikileaks at 8:47 PM - 20 Oct 2016
no US election. There is power consolidation. Rigged primary, rigged media and rigged 'pied piper' candidate drive consolidation.
I thoroughly believe him because Hillary has endured investigations, corruption and collusion between the FBI and the State Dept. not to leave out media collusion, and so much more including the DNC inciting violence at rallies. She is still walking free and clear and seemingly untouchable. The sheeple of the DNC and the RINOs of the Republican party want her in. If George Bush had done all this he would be in prison. In all actuality he too lied and covered up stuff.
We now move to The Swedish Public Prosecutor's Office which has been embarrassed in August this year and with good reason. They had leaked to the media that they were seeking to arrest Assange for rape.
Now, bear in mind that they withdrew the arrest warrant on the same day because in their own words there was "no evidence!" For Pete's sake, what is law and what is not here? Sweden should be the one on trial for stupidity. Thus, the evidence against him is precarious at best and stupid at worst.
To top it off, feminists of the West are raising questions about the investigation and renewed confusion as to whether the country of Sweden has issued charges against Mr. Assange. Women by the name of Naomi Klein, Naomi Wolf and a group called Women Against Rape from Europe have questioned the nature and purpose of the prosecution; they are not the only ones, as having read Sweden's garbled law, so do I.
