One of my clients gave this recipe to me. Easy to make and very tasty! She serves it when she has the card game at her house and the ladies come over from their card club! She always gets lots of compliments and never has leftovers!

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
1 cup butter softened (2 sticks)
2 cups flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt

2 c. Ghirardelli chocolate chips (Ghirardelli are is my favorite chocolate chip)
1 1/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Beat butter in large bowl until creamy. Mix in flour, sugar and salt. Press 2 cups of crumb mixture in 13 x 9 inch greased baking dish. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Warm 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and condensed milk over low heat. Stir in the vanilla. Then spread over the hot crust. Spread the remaining crumb mixture and walnuts over the chocolate mixture and then put back in the 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until the center is set. When done put the dish on a wire rack to cool.

Magically Moist Chicken

Picture

I found this recipe in my Mom's old wooden recipe
box!
I absolutely love it.

INGREDIENTS:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 cup  Best Foods Real Mayonnaise (any kind of real Mayonnaise will work)
1 1/4 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs

DIRECTIONS

The oven should be set to 425 degrees!
Brush chicken on all sides with Best Foods Real Mayonnaise (also known as Hellmann's). Place the bread crumbs in a large plastic bag. Add the chicken 1 piece at a time; shake to coat well. Then arrange the pieces of chicken in a baking pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until they are golden brown and tender and thoroughly cooked.

My Mom had a lot of good recipes in books and several recipe boxes. This was another one from the old wooden box!

1 cup Best Food Real Mayonnaise
3 T. vinegar
2 T. sugar
2 T. prepared mustard
1 t. salt (I always use sea salt)
1/4 t. pepper
1 pkg. or 8 ounces of elbow macaroni, cooked and then drained
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped red or green peppers (or if you have both colors
then mix it up as it will be more colorful)
1/4 cup chopped onion

Stir together the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and
toss to coat well. Then  cover and chill. Makes 5 cups.
